does The Ultimate Box Plus do?
The Ultimate Box Plus
is a single slot card read/write device that support cards for Brother,
Baby Lock, Bernina Deco, White, Simplicity and Viking/Husqvarna machines.

The Ultimate Box
Plus writes to The Ultimate Cards, Version I and II, Amazing (Magic) blank
card and 512K (4 Megabit) Blank Brother card. The Ultimate Box reads and
saves designs back to the hard drive of your computer from the above blank
cards and most pre-programmed design cards.
While retaining
all the great benefits of the Ultimate Box
USB, the Ultimate Box Plus offers several new features:
- A preview in
a greyscale is displayed on the embroidery machine after card has been
programmed.
- Designs can
be scaled, rotated and flipped over in the machines that support these
functions.
- It is easier
to position designs in the corners of the hoop.
- More pre-programmed
cards can be read.
- Improved accuracy
of colour information while reading cards.
- Design files
can now be re-named, copied, etc. inside the Ultimate box Explorer.
- Drag and drop
function.
As does
a 2-slot Ultimate Box II, The Ultimate
Box Plus comes with the trial version of Embird embroidery software. The
Embird part of the program expires in 30 days after installation unless
the registration key is purchased.

Download designs
from the Internet, floppy or a compact disk. Just edit them or create
new ones with the embroidery software you choose, such as any version
of Embird, Buzz Tools, PE Design, SmartSizer, Melco etc. and save designs
to the hard drive of your computer in PES, PEC or HUS format. Open the
Ultimate Box software, browse to your Designs Folder and transfer selected
embroidery designs to the Ultimate card. Next, simply place the card into
your embroidery machine and…
